C.P. (Chris) Allaart, M.D. is the Medical Director of Porto Medico; a registered family doctor/general practitioner (Dokter di kas / Huisarts op Curaçao).
He was born in Botswana and raised in Curaçao. He studied Public Health Science in Amsterdam and Medicine in Leiden (The Netherlands) and graduated in 2013.
He has postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology and Psychiatry. He has working experience in Lesbos (Greece), in a refugee camp for “Dokters van de Wereld” and in the Netherlands as G.P. He is certified in Aviation Medicine.
Jan W.L.Allaart, M.D. is the Founder of Porto Medico; a family doctor/general practitioner. He was born and raised in Curaçao (Dutch Caribbean). He studied medicine in Antwerp (Belgium) and Leiden (the Netherlands) and graduated in 1980.
He has post graduate training in Surgery, Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Tropical Medicine. He has working- experience in The Netherlands, Kenya, Botswana, Malaŵi and Curaçao. He is certified in Tropical Medicine, in Travel Health and in Aviation Medicine.
